TRIP TO FORT KNOX:

The tour included a briefing/tour of the 46th AG Reception Battalion, briefing/tour of a M1A1 Main Battle Tank, M3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle and the Stryker Reconnaissance Vehicle.  These are the fighting vehicles that are currently being used in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Lunch wasl the main dining facility. We received a briefing and demonstration of the Ft Knox Military Police Canine force and their compound. We conducted a drive around of the Post and then concluded the tour with a stop at the world famous Patton Museum.

This was a great trip.  We actually climbed inside these vehicles, looked thru the gun sights, stood in the turret and sat in the driver’s seat.
